Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the UrDesign by Anshika website at urdesign.space and every product and service offered through it. By creating an account, placing an order, or otherwise using the site, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.

1. Who You Are Contracting With

UrDesign by Anshika is a sole proprietorship operated by Anshika Singh, trading in India. It is not a company or a limited liability entity. Where these Terms say "we", "us" or "UrDesign by Anshika", they refer to that proprietorship, which is the party you contract with when you buy anything on this site.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of them, please do not use our services.

We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Changes are not retroactive: an order already placed remains governed by the Terms in force when you placed it.

You must be at least 18 years old, and capable of entering a contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872, to purchase from us.

3. What We Offer

UrDesign by Anshika currently offers the following. Availability of any individual offering may change, and some are enabled only in certain regions:

• Design-in-a-Box packages — remote interior design delivered to a fixed scope and timeline, for the spaces you select at the time of purchase.
• Design services — consultations and concierge design, delivered remotely or on-site depending on the service and your location.
• Digital resources — downloadable guides, templates and tools, delivered to your account immediately after payment.
• Academy — online courses and workshops, accessed through your account.
• Home decor and furniture — a physical product range that is not yet open. Sections of these Terms concerning goods take effect when it launches.
• Partner programme — arrangements for builders and businesses, governed by a separate signed agreement that prevails over these Terms where they conflict.

3.1 Design Services

Design services depend on availability and may vary by location. The exact scope, deliverables and timeline for a package are those shown on its page and in the configuration you confirm at checkout. Design is a matter of professional judgement and taste: we will work with you to reach a result you are happy with, but we do not warrant that a particular subjective outcome will be achieved.

You are responsible for the accuracy of measurements, photographs, site details and preferences you provide. Deliverables are prepared from that information, and we are not liable for a design that does not fit because the information given to us was wrong.

Any third party you engage to execute a design — contractor, carpenter, vendor — is engaged by you directly. We do not supervise their work and are not responsible for it unless the service you purchased expressly includes execution.

3.2 Digital Resources and Courses

Digital resources are licensed to you, not sold. You get a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use them for your own personal or internal business purposes. You may not resell, redistribute, sublicense or publish them, and you may not share your account access with anyone else.

Download limits may apply and are shown with the product. Because these are delivered immediately, please read our Refund Policy before buying — refunds on digital items are limited.

3.3 Products

When the shop opens, products will be subject to availability and to the delivery areas listed in our Shipping Policy. Product images are illustrative; colour, grain and finish vary between screens and between individual pieces, particularly for natural materials.

4. Your Account

To buy from us or access what you have bought, you need an account. You must give accurate and current information, keep your password confidential, and you are responsible for everything done through your account.

• One person, one account — accounts may not be shared or transferred
• Tell us immediately at [email protected] if you believe someone else has accessed your account
• We may suspend or close an account that breaches these Terms. Where we do, you keep access to anything already paid for unless the breach relates to that purchase.
• You can close your account at any time from Settings. Closing it does not automatically refund anything already bought.

5. Pricing and Payment

5.1 Pricing

All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) and, unless stated otherwise on the page, are inclusive of applicable taxes. Prices can change at any time, but a change never affects an order already placed.

We try hard to keep pricing accurate. If an item is listed at a clearly incorrect price because of a technical or human error, we may cancel the order and refund you in full rather than fulfil it at that price. We will tell you before doing so.

The price of a design package covers the scope you configure at checkout. Work beyond that scope — extra rooms, extra revision rounds, a restart after sign-off — is quoted and agreed separately before it begins. Any figure we give for the likely cost of executing a design (furniture, materials, labour) is an indicative estimate, not a quote, and is not payable to us.

5.2 Payment Methods

Payments are processed by Razorpay, which supports cards, UPI, net banking, wallets and EMI where eligible. We never see or store your full card number. Your payment is subject to Razorpay's own terms in addition to ours.

5.3 Order Confirmation

You will receive an email confirmation once an order is placed. That confirmation acknowledges your order; the contract is formed when we accept it. We may decline an order — for example where an item is unavailable, the delivery address is outside our service area, or payment cannot be verified — and will refund you in full if we do.

6. Cancellation and Refunds

Cancellation rights differ across what we sell, and the details are set out in the Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms. In summary:

• Design packages — cancel free of charge any time before your Discovery Call. After that call, design work has begun and the fee is not refundable.
• Digital resources — not refundable once purchased, because they are delivered instantly, except where the item was never delivered or is faulty.
• Courses and workshops — as stated on the individual listing.
• Physical products — returnable under the Refund Policy once the shop is open.

We may cancel a booking ourselves — illness, an unforeseen inability to deliver, or a scope we cannot responsibly take on. In that case you get a full refund of anything paid for the undelivered part, which is the limit of our obligation for that cancellation.

7. Intellectual Property

The website itself — its text, graphics, logo, photography, layout and software — belongs to UrDesign by Anshika or its licensors and is protected by Indian copyright and trade mark law. You may not copy, redistribute or make derivative works from it without our written permission.

7.1 What You Own

The design deliverables we prepare specifically for you — your layouts, mood boards, renders and product schedules — become yours to use for your own property once you have paid for them in full. Use them freely: build from them, share them with your contractor, adapt them.

7.2 What We Keep

We retain ownership of the underlying templates, style frameworks, component libraries and methods used to produce your deliverables, and of anything we supply as a licensed digital resource. Nothing here gives you the right to resell a design we made for you as a product of your own.

7.3 Showing Your Project

We would like to show finished work in our portfolio and on social media. We will only do so with your permission, we will never publish your address or identify your home without asking, and you can withdraw that permission at any time by writing to [email protected]. Withdrawal applies going forward; we cannot recall material already printed or reshared by others.

7.4 What You Send Us

You keep ownership of the photographs, plans and information you upload. You grant us a licence to use them for the purpose of delivering your project, and you confirm you have the right to share them with us.

8. Acceptable Use

When using the site, you agree not to:

• Break any applicable law, or infringe anyone else's rights
• Copy, scrape, resell or redistribute our content, resources or course material
• Share account credentials, or access content you have not paid for
• Upload anything unlawful, misleading, or containing malware, or impersonate another person
• Interfere with the site's operation or security, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to any system or account
• Abuse, threaten or harass our team

We may suspend access where we reasonably believe this section has been breached.

9. Liability

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law — including liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence. Your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 are unaffected by anything written here.

Subject to that, UrDesign by Anshika is not liable for indirect or consequential loss — including loss of profit, loss of opportunity, or the cost of works carried out by a third party — arising from your use of the site or our services.

Our total liability for any claim connected to a purchase is limited to the amount you actually paid us for the service or item giving rise to it.

We are not liable for delay or failure caused by events outside our reasonable control, including natural events, strikes, utility or internet failure, government action, or the default of a supplier or courier.

10. Grievance Officer

In accordance with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, complaints about this website or anything bought through it may be sent to our Grievance Officer:

We acknowledge complaints within 48 hours and aim to resolve them within 30 days, as the Rules require.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the courts of Mumbai, Maharashtra. Nothing in this clause prevents a consumer from bringing a complaint before the consumer forum for the place where they live, as the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 permits.

Before going to court, please write to us first — most issues are resolved quickly and without cost that way.

12. These Terms in Another Language

These Terms are published in English. If you would prefer them in Hindi, Marathi, or any other language in the Eighth Schedule to the Constitution of India, write to [email protected] and we will send a translated copy at no cost. The English version remains the operative text.
